Senior Radio Frequency (RF) Engineer

Overland Park, KS (Onsite, 5 days / week)

Contract; open to extension with potential conversion to FTE

Compensation : $85–$90 / hr

Top 3 Job Functions

• Lead RF design, planning, optimization, and troubleshooting for LMR, private LTE (pLTE), Microwave, and Narrowband networks.
• Serve as the RF Subject Matter Expert (SME) for propagation modeling, interference mitigation, and spectrum management.
• Drive project execution and support proposals, scopes, level-of-effort estimates, and implementation plans.

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Senior Radio Frequency (RF) Engineer to design, optimize, plan, deploy, and troubleshoot Land Mobile Radio (LMR), private LTE (pLTE), Microwave, and Narrowband networks for utility-sector clients. This role independently applies advanced RF concepts to complex challenges (e.g., interference) and provides technical leadership on medium-to-high complexity projects or serves as the RF SME guiding cross-functional teams. Occasional travel to client sites is required for inspections, testing, and meetings.
