Cost Manager Quantity Suryeyor Data Center Construction

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor to support a major data center construction project. This role involves managing cost planning and control throughout the full project lifecycle ensuring delivery on time and within budget for a large-scale mission-critical facility.

Youll be part of our Cost Management team delivering expert cost consulting services and working closely with clients contractors and project teams.

Responsibilities

• Support cost management activities from early-stage budgeting and procurement through post-contract cost control and final account closeout.
• Prepare and present detailed cost plans estimates and budgets aligned with project scope and objectives.
• Assist with cost control processes during construction monitoring actual costs against forecasts and recommending corrective actions.
• Review and validate change orders ensuring proper documentation and compliance with contractual terms.
• Track contingencies commitments and cost impacts across multiple packages or phases.
• Prepare and deliver cost reports forecasts and presentations for stakeholders.
• Contribute to procurement strategies bid analysis and contractor negotiations.
• Support value engineering and design optimization initiatives to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with internal financial systems client-specific requirements and regulatory controls.
• Maintain benchmarking data and historical cost records for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with project managers and design teams to align scope budget and schedule.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients contractors and internal teams.
• SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role which are to be adhered to where applicable.
