Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering relevant diagnostic tests, and crafting personalized care plans
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions in partnership with supervising physicians or independently (depending on credentialing)
• Providing education to patients and families regarding prevention, wellness, and chronic disease management
• Prescribing appropriate medications and therapy options within your scope of practice
• Engaging in follow-up care and chronic disease management
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and continuous care
• Maintaining accurate and meticulous records in electronic medical systems (EMR)

Education Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Essential Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Florida
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or a related specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to obtain within 90 days)
