ABOUT THIS FEATURED OPPORTUNITY

Do you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for software quality? Our client is looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst to join their dynamic team in a Contract to Hire capacity. This position offers a perfect blend of technical challenge and interpersonal collaboration, as you'll be working closely with both the Manager of Insurance and Accounting and the broader project team to uphold the highest standards of software quality and reliability. With a flexible work model that includes both in-office and remote work, this role provides an excellent opportunity for work-life balance.

THE OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU

  • Design comprehensive test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures to rigorously validate software functionality.
  • Identify, document, and troubleshoot bugs and defects throughout the development process.
  • Develop and maintain a catalog of diverse test procedures, including functional, non-functional, integration, and end-to-end tests.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Audit and Information Security teams to ensure strict adherence to compliance and security standards.
  • Create and submit Change Requests for weekly Change Advisory Board reviews.
  • Utilize SQL queries to generate critical reports for the Insurance and Accounting departments.
  • Work with automation engineers to create scripts and improve automation frameworks.

    • KEY SUCCESS FACTORS

  • A BS / BA degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 5-7 years of experience in a Quality Analyst role or similar.
  • Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Hands-on experience with SQL Server Databases.
  • Expertise in Agile Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to set priorities.

    • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with integration platform middleware like Boomi or Denodo.
  • Utilization of Agile practices and principles, including experience with Scrum or Kanban frameworks.
  • Proficiency in tools like Azure, MS Dynamics, Jira, or Confluence.
