Accounts Payable Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to manage full-cycle accounts payable operations. The ideal candidate will efficiently handle high-volume invoice processing and ensure accurate financial records.

Responsibilities include :

• Handle full-cycle accounts payable operations with at least three years of experience.
• Review invoices for appropriate General Ledger (GL) coding, proof of product / service delivery, sales tax, credit memos, and perform weekly check runs.
• Execute purchase order (PO) matching.
• Prioritize invoice payments based on vendor terms.
• Monitor electronic inbox for invoice submissions.
• Process monthly expense reports and determine GL codes from the Chart of Accounts.
• Reconcile monthly vendor statements.
• Manage a high volume of invoices, up to 1500 monthly.

The role is fully onsite at a nice, clean manufacturing company that produces commercial doors. The office environment is supportive, with a family-like culture where everyone is a team player, respectful, and approachable. The department consists of 15 people, providing an excellent opportunity to collaborate and learn from great management.

This is a contract position based out of Irvine, CA. The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
