Previous experience per IATF 16949 or direct experience with Automotive Quality Standards Strong knowledge of Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA). Experience with the 5 Why root cause analysis method. Proficient in quality control data analysis and interpretation. Familiarity with the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP). Excellent communication and leadership skills. Detail-oriented with a strong analytical mindset. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field is preferred. Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Manager to join our team in Gilberts, IL. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the quality assurance team to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Conduct thorough quality inspections and internal audits to identify areas for improvement.
- Utilize Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) to assess potential risks and implement corrective actions.
- Apply the 5 Why method for root cause analysis to resolve quality issues effectively.
- Analyze quality control data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Oversee the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) to ensure all components meet specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to foster a culture of quality throughout the organization.
- Provide training and support to team members on quality assurance best practices.
