Description
JOB SUMMARY
Consult with BWC members interested in dietary counseling / coaching. Assist with developing positive lifestyle habits for BWC members. Provide nutritional content for BWC social media and internal flat screen postings. Provide occasional educational programs and activities at BWC and community to promote health and wellness with nutritional focus. Work collaboratively with BWC staff and current club management tools to promote and schedule nutrition coaching sessions.
Qualifications
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education : Bachelor's Degree with major in Food and Nutrition or Dietetics from an accredited institution.
Licensure : CPR Certified. Registered Dietitian in the state of Georgia. Maintain CEU required for state of Georgia licensure.
Experience : Practical experience in work-study program, internship or on the job.
Skills : Must be able to effectively provide nutrition coaching, including adequate documentation , data review, and relay back to clients and their support structure as indicated.
Must be able to develop and implement nutrition education programs and effectively manage the available resources. Bilingual
preferred.
PHYSICAL, MENTAL, ENVIRONMENTAL AND WORKING CONDITIONS
Mostly sedentary conditions. Local travel required. Must be able to do promotional media presentations. Culinary skills required. Lifting up to 50 lbs. Must have the ability to self-assess, self-correct, and self-direct. Maintains accountability of his / her actions. Must be able to communicate effectively in English (i.e. speaking, body language, reading, writing, listening) for varied audiences and purposes. Must be able to interact effectively with clients, colleagues and others in the community and deal effectively with cultural and ethnic diversity issues.
