Forklift Operator / Material Handler

Join the Moran Logistics family! Moran Logistics, a family-owned and operated 3rd party logistics (3PL) company, is expanding and we want you to join our team. At Moran Logistics, we are committed to creating a safe, welcoming, and rewarding workplace for all employees. We are currently seeking individuals to join our team as Forklift Operator / Material Handler. No experience, no problem, we will train you!

What you'll do on a typical day :

  • Efficiently sort, handle, load and unload freight via sit down forklift truck, reach truck, and other powered industrial material handling equipment
  • Receive, distribute, and store products as directed in designated, secure locations that are managed via our online Warehouse Management System (WMS)
  • Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools and supplies
  • Use mobile handheld devices to scan and track shipments and become familiar with Warehouse Management System (WMS) in order to make inventory adjustments as needed
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of materials to prevent damage or loss
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and assist in performing cycle counts as needed
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations set forth by OSHA
  • Conduct routine safety inspections of forklifts and other equipment to ensure proper functioning and overall safety of Moran Logistics operations

    • Requirements :

  • To be at least 18 years of age
  • Proficiency in basic math, arithmetic
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
