Anesthesiologist Opportunity in Northern PA Located in Coudersport, PA - Buffalo, 110m; Pittsburgh, PA 166m Full time, permanent Hospital employed Join a modern, progressive system centered around a 25-bed critical access hospital located on a large, well-maintained campus. Well-maintained campus with a service area covering 55,000 people living in six counties in North Central Pennsylvania and Western New York. Hospital has four (4) operating room suites, an endoscopy lab, and a minor procedure room. The 5,500 surgical procedures performed annually are derived from orthopedics, general surgery, ENT, pain management, OB / GYN, podiatry, urology, and gastroenterology.The hospital is seeking an enthusiastic, hardworking physician who will thrive as part of a small, well-trained, and experienced medical staff contributing to the team-oriented environment. Call is 1 : 3. Administration of anesthesia and anesthesia-related care in four general categories : (1) pre-anesthetic preparation and evaluation; (2) anesthesia induction, maintenance, and emergence, (3) post-anesthesia care; and (4) peri-anesthesia clinical support functions. Perform responsibilities according to established policies, procedures, and regulatory standards. Review appropriate documentation for informed consent and identify the appropriate surgical site with operating room staff and surgeon in accordance with departmental and regulatory compliance standards.
