Responsibilities

The Senior Systems Engineer is a member of the IT Enterprise Systems team focused primarily on supporting various enterprise technologies at NISA and providing tier 3 level issue resolution. The candidate for this position enjoys working with and being exposed to many different technologies, as well as being a champion for automation. This position requires taking a lead role on projects (small and large) and following through to completion. The Senior Systems Engineer will also be responsible for mentoring other team members when needed.

Implement and support Microsoft cloud technologies and services such as Entra ID, MS Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, CASB, Defender, and Intune

• Manage and support NISA's Identity and Access Management (IAM) strategy, including MFA, SSO, conditional access policies, and Entra ID Enterprise Application management
• Manage and maintain a Microsoft Windows Server enterprise environment in a multi-site configuration (Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy, and Certificate Services)
• Manage, upgrade, and support NISA's remote access environment, including Citrix administration and managing workstations in VMWare / Nutanix
• Design and configure highly available systems through load balancing and GSLB (Citrix Netscaler)
• Responsible for running and maintaining various security products and operations such as patch management (Ivanti), Windows Defender, malware investigations, and vulnerability / threat management
• Mentor team members on best practices and professional development by sharing technical expertise and encouraging continuous learning
