What will you be doing?
- Lead new product development programs from ideation through commercialization
- Collaborate with R&D, Marketing, Quality, Operations, and Regulatory Affairs to ensure compliance and market readiness
- Establish and track project-level KPIs aligned with program objectives
- Own project planning, progress tracking, and status reporting
- Manage deliverables across functions and facilitate decision-making on scope, budget, schedule, and product quality
- Drive Agile practices as project leader and scrum master
What will you need to be successful?
Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., Electrical, Biomedical, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering); Master's Degree in a technical field preferredHands-on engineering experience developing new products from inception to launchProven project management experience leading medium-scale NPD programs, preferably in software or integrated systemsFamiliarity with Agile methodology and industry certifications such as PMP, SAFe, Scrum Master, or equivalentHands-on experience with SaMD and Physical Product, i.e., HWWe believe in creating the greatest good for society. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge / skills, experience, geographical location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role at Smith + Nephew. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
