A company is looking for a Patient Accounts Customer Services Representative I.
Key Responsibilities
Answers calls in a call center environment to assist callers with various requests and inquiries
Processes payments, establishes payment plans, and maintains patient accounts in accordance with regulations
Resolves billing problems and interacts with patients, authorized representatives, and insurance companies
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required
Less than 1 year of relevant work experience (3 - 6 months required)
Knowledge of HIPAA and privacy standards
Ability to enter and manage data electronically
Understanding of billing processes and insurance requirements
