Certified Outpatient Coder

A company is looking for an Outpatient SDS Coder for weekends.

Key Responsibilities

Assign appropriate ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS codes and modifiers to various accounts

Abstract and enter coded data for hospital statistical and reporting requirements

Query physicians to clarify clinical information and communicate documentation improvement opportunities

Required Qualifications

Must possess an approved AHIMA or AAPC coding credential

Minimum of 3 years' coding experience required; Trauma Level 1 and Academic Teaching facility experience preferred

Availability to work a weekend schedule (Fri, Sat, Sun)

Must pass an assessment with 95% or higher
