Mitigation Technician

Restoration / Mitigation Field Technician (Experienced)

Location: Dodge Center, MN

Pay: $20-$25/hr

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM until job completion (typically 5:00 PM)

We are seeking experienced Mitigation Field Technicians to support water, fire, mold, and storm loss response projects. This role is hands on and fast paced, working directly in affected residential and commercial properties. Prior mitigation or restoration field experience is required.

What You'll Do in the Field

Perform mitigation work on active loss sites (water, fire, mold, storm)

Set, monitor, and adjust drying equipment (air movers, dehumidifiers, HEPA units)

Complete contents pack outs, cleaning, and inventory documentation

Identify, document, and track damaged materials and contents

Maintain jobsite safety, cleanliness, and professional standards

Drive company vehicles to job sites and assist with equipment setup

Communicate clearly with homeowners, business owners, and team leads

Shop / Contents Responsibilities

Intake, inventory, and categorize contents from loss sites

Perform cleaning, drying, deodorizing, and restoration of contents

Repackage items and organize secure storage

Complete documentation and communicate progress with project teams

Required Experience & Qualifications

1+ years of hands on mitigation or restoration field experience

Experience responding to water, fire, mold, or storm losses

Familiarity with drying equipment and moisture monitoring

Experience with contents pack outs and loss documentation

Understanding of IICRC standards (certifications preferred, not required)

Valid driver's license and ability to drive company vehicles

Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work on ladders, and perform physical work

Smartphone proficiency for documentation and communication

Professional demeanor and strong attention to detail

Entry level candidates or those without mitigation experience will not be considered.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
