JOB DESCRIPTION

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)'s strive to always maintain patient comfort and safety and well-being. Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)s monitor vitals and patient behavior, report findings to the nursing and medical staff, assisting patients with mobility needs, bathing, and personal care. The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) acts as companion to patients and accompanying them on walks or other activities they enjoy, documenting information, cleaning rooms and bed linens, stocking supplies. The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) assists with safety and some medical procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) has strong communication skills, detail oriented, patient, compassionate, and empathetic
• Good collaboration and teamwork skills
• In-depth understanding of patient care policies and regulations
• Comfortable working with specific populations of patients, including elderly patients and those with special needs
• Be at least 16 years old
• Up-to-date immunization records
• Pass a criminal background check
• Pass the State Exam and register as a Certified Nurse Aide
