Lighting Controls Project Manager I

Position Summary: Responsible for all aspects of project management from beginning to end under minimal supervision.

Position Responsibilities:

• Perform order entry, problem resolution, material management, and project close out as need
• Maintain and label project files
• Perform material take-offs
• Produce add order quotations
• Verify that information and data are correct
• Follow up with tracking information to the commercial offices and customers (includes Gear and RGA’s)
• Prepare cut sheet submittals
• Follow up with factory submittals and distribute accordingly
• Assist in layouts as needed
• Maintain knowledge of currently represented products
• Travel to factories as needed for product training
• Develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work
• Other duties as assigned by manager

Essential Skills:

• Prior lighting project management experience or equivalent preferred
• Prior customer service experience
• Must have excellent math skills
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and internet research
• Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services; including customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
• Auto Cad experience preferred
• Proficient in Blue Beam
