Job Summary and Qualifications We are currently looking for an enthusiastic CT Technologist to cover both X-ray and CT at St. Mark's Free Standing Emergency Departmentlocatedin Taylorsville! In our department, you will work independently in radiology providing imaging services to outpatients and ER patients, alongside the friendly ER staff. The equipment on site is GE and Konica. There are always opportunities to learn new things and be challenged in your career. In this role: You will administer both oral and IV contrast; evaluate patients for any allergic reactions; place the correct IV for the exam being performed. You will be loading and operatingMedRadpower injector. You will operateand understand CT & X-ray equipment; practice ALARA standards; understand physician protocols and scan appropriately. You will bemaintaininga clean work environment andstockthe department with supplies and linens. You will be moving, lifting, andassistingpatients on to and off the scanner table.
