About Us : Fishers Music & Arts Academy is a leading music education institution dedicated to providing high-quality music instruction to students of all ages and skill levels.

Position : Guitar, Bass, and Ukulele Teacher; Piano Teacher; Administrative Assistant

Location : 9746 Olympia Dr. Fishers, IN 46037

Description : We are seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic guitar, bass, and ukulele teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least a Bachelor's degree in music with a focus on guitar and / or piano, or be in the process of completing their BA. Private teaching experience is essential. As a teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, preparing students for performances, and communicating effectively with students and parents. Our school is currently only open Mondays through Thursdays at 2 : 00-9 : 00 pm, and Saturdays optional.

Responsibilities :

• Teach guitar, bass, and ukulele lessons , and piano to students of all ages and skill levels
• Prepare students for performances and recitals
• Communicate regularly with students and parents in a positive and encouraging manner
• Utilize technology for lesson assignments and virtual makeup lessons
• Maintain a consistent schedule and arrive punctually for lessons

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in music with an emphasis on guitar and / or piano(or in progress)
• Or instead of BA, Guitar experience in different bands
• Private teaching experience for all instruments listed
• Strong communication skills
• Proficiency with technology
• Must bring your own laptop
• Schedule : Weekday afternoons, starting at either 2 : 00 or 3 : 00 pm, with the potential for evening lessons ending as late as 9 : 00 pm. Saturday optional.
