Overview :
A leading nationally recognized healthcare system is seeking a Director of Nursing to oversee a high-acuity Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU). Key Responsibilities :
Provide strategic and operational leadership for CVICU clinical and administrative functions
Ensure compliance with quality safety and regulatory standards
Collaborate closely with cardiovascular surgeons intensivists and interdisciplinary teams
Manage department budgets staffing efficiency and performance outcomes
Lead implementation of evidence-based practice and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications :
Active unrestricted RN license in Florida or Compact state
Minimum 3 years of nursing leadership experience in cardiovascular critical care
Bachelors degree required; Masters degree preferred
