Mental Health Specialist II

A company is looking for a Mental Health Specialist II.

Key Responsibilities

Interacts with clients in a therapeutic manner and models effective communication and coping skills

Assists clients in identifying personal recovery goals and develops interventions based on those goals

Advocates for appropriate resources and facilitates structured skill trainings related to mental health

Required Qualifications

Four (4) years of full-time paid experience in a relevant mental health or human service field, or a Bachelor's Degree in a related field

Ability to handle phone requests under time and decision-making pressure

Experience in crisis intervention

Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 20 lbs

Willingness to work in varying environments, including those that may be moderately loud
