Rural Physicians Group (RPG) is looking for a hospitalist to join our team at Banner Lassen Medical Center who is passionate about rural medicine, is looking to make a difference in medically underserved communities, and wants to enjoy a flexible schedule with more autonomy.

Our expansive network of passionate, experienced hospitalists, surgicalists, and APPs works full-time to solve the healthcare crisis in rural communities, partnering with hospitals to offer continuity of care and improved patient outcomes.
THE OPPORTUNITY
- 25 Bed CAH
- Level 4 Trauma Center
- No ICU
- EMR : Cerner with Dragon dictation
- Procedures : vent management, emergent intubations (due to delays in transfers)
- Census : ranges from 6-12
- ACLS and BLS certification required
- Peds and neonate experience a plus

Consistent placement -plan your schedule 90 days out and beyondIn an effort to provide continuity of care and consistency within our small rural communities and hospitals, we require a minimum of a 5-day block per month for core team hospitalists (you may work more!)Dedicated private and comfortable lodging / call-roomFood is provided but not fresh (no actual kitchen)QUALIFICATIONS
Board certified or eligible in family medicine (will consider internal medicine as well)Active state licensure or ability to obtainAbility to perform full scope of practice with minimal supportAbility to independently manage critically ill patientsClean malpractice and disciplinary historyExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as bedside mannerPrior experience preferred but will consider new gradsProficiency and willingness to perform some occasional mainline proceduresSpanish language skills are a plus but not required
