Position

We are seeking an experienced Patent Agent or Patent Attorney with a strong electrical engineering background to join our San Jose office. Minimum 3 years experience in patent preparation and prosecution, especially in semiconductor technologies, is required. Applicants must be able to commute regularly to the San Jose office.

Responsibilities

• Draft and prosecute patent applications in various technical fields with emphasis on electrical engineering technologies.
• Coordinate large and complex patent portfolios in the U.S. and globally.
• Perform third-party rights analyses.
• Mentor and support the professional development of junior staff.

Qualifications

Compensation & Benefits

Base pay range : $130,000 / yr – $185,000 / yr, plus bonus eligibility.

Location & Working Hours

San Jose, California – full-time office-based position.
