OPERATOR

Job Summary: The Crane Operator is responsible for operating specialty machinery to fabricate, manufacture, assemble, or move products. Maintain and monitor machine to make sure it functions properly. Understanding of how operated machine works. Conduct quality checks periodically.

• Operate and drive up to (and possibly over) 250-ton cranes with boom dollies as well as experience driving tractor-trailers.
• Operate specialty machinery to fabricate, manufacture, assemble, or move products. Maintain and monitor machine to make sure it functions properly. Understanding of how operated machine works. Conduct quality checks periodically.

• Active NCCCO crane certification.
• 3+ years’ experience operating heavy machinery, preferably cranes.
• Valid CDL A Driver's License
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

• Work is performed in a standard construction environment with prolonged periods of standing, sitting and/or walking. Subject to standing, walking, bending, reaching, stooping, and lifting objects up to 100 pounds at times. May occasionally be exposed to dangerous machinery, extreme noise and physical harm in areas requiring hard hats, safety glasses and steel-toed safety shoes.
• Ability to pass DOT pre-placement physical and physical capacities exam.
