Stormont Vail Healthcare is seeking a full-time BC/BE Neonatologist to join our dedicated 5-physician and NNP team providing comprehensive care in a Level-III, 36-bed NICU in Topeka, Kansas - a vibrant, affordable city located near major university towns with excellent subspecialty support and advanced neonatal services.
Job Description:
• Provide a full range of neonatal intensive care services in a Level-III NICU with 36 beds and an average daily census of 26 patients
• Manage advanced neonatal therapies including High Frequency Ventilation, Inhaled Nitric Oxide, Total Body Cooling, and amplitude-integrated EEG (aEEG)
• Collaborate with subspecialty support teams including Cardiology, Neurology, Ophthalmology, Hematology, and Endocrinology
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team including 5 neonatologists and Neonatal Nurse Practitioners (NNPs)
• Participate in patient care coverage including potential call and weekend duties as per department policy
• Engage with a community and hospital environment offering excellent quality of life and professional opportunities
• Open BE and BC in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine
• Not accepting Locums candidates
• Open to J1 visa candidates
