Community Hospital Corporation (CHC), a DFW Top 100 Employer, is seeking a Pharmacy Coordinator to work under the direction of the Corporate Manager, Pharmacy Clinical Integration to help support corporate-wide pharmacy initiatives.

The Pharmacy Coordinator supports corporate-wide pharmacy initiatives utilizing analytical and quantitative methods to maximize savings opportunities and enhance pharmacy supply chain processes by assembling data, analyzing performance, identifying problems and developing recommendations which support pharmacy operations. The pharmacy coordinator will assist with implementation, operational and procurement support for facilities, help analyze data for standardization efforts and manage report distribution.
Experience / Education
- Requires 3-5 years pharmacy buyer experience or similar function.
- Certified Registered Pharmacy Technician.
- Advanced certification / degree in business preferred but not required.
- Previous hospital experience is a plus+
Major Responsibilities
Collaborate with members to optimize and enhance compliance with the HealthTrust portfolio.Work closely with pharmacy distributors and vendor partners to assist and improve pharmacy contract load and request credit / rebills as appropriate.Compare pharmacy purchase data against the HealthTrust pharmacy contract portfolio, member’s custom contracts and individual agreements to identify inaccurate tiers, contract price loading issues, and other pricing discrepancies.Complete declaration forms and identify group tiers / agreements that need to be activated.Assist with conducting / submitting data for analysis for sales and implementation.Provide training for new pharmacy resources.Monitor local and national drug shortages and leverage vendor / distributor relationships when needed.Maintain distribution groups / lists.Validate and send monthly reports to all facilities.Develop and maintain relationships with staff and customers to serve as a resource when needed.Assist with ad hoc analytics reporting projectsPerforms other tasks and duties as assigned in an efficient, effective and cost conscious manner, complying with all CHC’s policies, procedures and regulationsGeneral Duties
