As a Technical Instructor, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the minds and skills of our students. Your expertise in gasoline and diesel engines, diagnostics, and repair will be the guiding light that leads them to a promising career in many different industries. Compass Rose Foundation (CRF) is an 80-year-old Florida chartered non-profit organization that fulfills its mission by governing post secondary institutions. Steeped in the management of career-oriented institutions, its current charge is the development of trade and technical schools. Under this endeavor, CRF has one institution within its auspice of control. Jones Technical Institute (J-Tech), located in Jacksonville offers programs in Automotive, Diesel, Marine & RV Technology as well as HVAC-R and Commercial Truck Driving, Welding and soon to be Network Administration and Security.
J-Tech, founded in 2013, is located on the south side of Jacksonville. Our campus is comprised of 28 acres and 168,000 square feet. Since its founding, our Automotive and Diesel programs have produced over 1500 graduates while its Commercial Truck Driving program has assisted almost thousands of graduates obtain a Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
