MISSION :
The Production Maintenance Technician (2nd Shift) ensures the production operation is supported through achieving optimal equipment performance. This role ensures the equipment is maintained, changed over, corrected or upgraded as needed. Proper knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and general process controls is required.
Hours : 3 : 30 pm - 12 : 00 am, Monday - Friday (Overtime Required)
KEY OUTCOMES (KPI’S) :
1) OUTCOME : Ensure equipment is properly working to provide a safe environment
- Validate Safety controls are in place for staff and equipment
- Monitor equipment to eliminate potential safety hazards
- Properly utilize lock out / tag out procedures when working on equipment
- Lead through example and training for all associates through safe work practices
2) OUTCOME : Execute preventative maintenance and spare parts program
Adhere to schedule for preventative maintenanceUpdate preventative maintenance system according to define procedureKeep system current with changes to requirementsPerform periodic inventories of spare parts and tool areaOrder parts and update inventory as required of spare parts and tool area3) OUTCOME : Support operations in daily production targets
Respond and repair equipment based on communicated prioritiesAssist production as required when equipment is underperformingEnsure line change overs are performed accurately and within required allotted time4) OUTCOME : Support Kem Krest Culture and Continuous Improvement Process
