Job Purpose / Summary
The Contracts / Subcontracts Administrator is responsible for administering and managing contracts and subcontracts throughout the full lifecycle, including proposal development, negotiation, execution, post-award administration, and closeout. This role ensures compliance with applicable regulations, contractual requirements, and company policies while supporting program execution and business objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Administer and manage contracts and subcontracts throughout the full lifecycle, from proposal development through closeout.
- Develop, issue, and manage RFP packages and evaluate proposals for compliance, pricing, and contractual requirements.
- Perform price analysis and develop negotiation strategies; negotiate pricing, terms and conditions, and required contract flow-downs.
- Execute contracts, subcontracts, and modifications in accordance with FAR / DFAR regulations and company policies.
- Perform post-award administration, including managing modifications, monitoring deliverables and milestones, facilitating invoicing, and supporting contract closeout activities.
- Monitor subcontractor performance against statements of work, schedules, and funding requirements.
- Ensure compliance with contractual, regulatory, and internal requirements beyond FAR / DFAR, including documentation standards and record retention.
- Identify contractual, financial, and performance risks and recommend or implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including program management, finance, engineering, and legal.
- Communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, with internal stakeholders, customers, and subcontractors.
Qualifications
Eligible to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.Bachelors degree.Minimum five (5) years of experience executing and administering contracts and / or subcontracts.Working knowledge of FAR and DFAR regulations.Demonstrated experience negotiating terms and conditions, non-disclosure agreements, and teaming agreements.Experience performing price analysis.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to make strategic decisions while delivering timely and accurate results.Working Conditions
Employees may work in a variety of settings, including remote and in-person environments. Flexibility to work extended hours as required to meet business needs. Employees may be required to participate in in-person meetings, trainings, or company functions at Knowmadics offices or other designated locations. Travel in support of business operations may also be required.
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of remaining in a stationary position at a desk and working on a computer.
