Position Summary

The Performance Nutritionist provides world?class, evidence?informed nutrition support to optimize player health, performance, and recovery. Working as part of Bay FCs integrated medical and performance team, this role designs and delivers individualized and team?wide fueling strategies, oversees daily nutrition operations, and ensures all dietary practices align with player needs, training & game demands, and the clubs performance vision.

Responsibilities

• Advise athletes on daily nutrition for performance, health, recovery, body composition, and supplement use.
• Identify and support athletes at risk for nutrition disorders or disordered eating.
• Design and supervise individualized recovery nutrition & hydration strategies.
• Evaluate athlete energy expenditure, balance, and body composition to develop protocols that achieve performance and health goals.
• Maintain proactive communication and collaboration with athletes external nutrition providers to ensure consistent messaging and aligned support plans.

Compensation

The anticipated salary for this role is starting at $100,000. Actual starting pay may vary based on a range of factors which can include experience, skills, and scope.
