As the Permit Technician you will : process building permit applications and related documents, provide general information, customer assistance, and explain city codes and policies to citizens and applicants.
The City of Celina operates on a 4-day work week.

What you'll bring :
High school diploma or GED equivalent AND one (1) year of experience in an office environment, preferably in a government environment; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience required.Candidates are required to obtain International Code Council (ICC) Permit Technician certification within one (1) year of employment, following successful completion of the employee's probationary period.Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, criminal background investigation and MVR check.Must possess valid class C driver's license.A proactive, solution-focused mindsetPride in your work and your communityCommitment to delivering excellent experiences for employees and residentsDiscretion, sound judgment, and initiative
