Responsibilities

Position Overview :

Provides specialized lactation assistance to patients to new and prospective parents. Specific task elements are generally outlined below and may be found within department competency check off lists.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications :

High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Experience providing lactation support to breastfeeding dyads
• IBCLC certification (or completed within 6 months of hire)
