Security Officer - Front Desk Commercial

As a Security Officer - Front Desk Commercial in Metairie, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and tenants, helping to maintain a welcoming and secure environment. Your primary responsibilities include monitoring access, assisting guests, and providing outstanding customer service, all while upholding our values of teamwork, reliability, and integrity. Pay Rate : $12.50 / Hour

Job Schedule :

  • Tue 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM
  • Wed 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM
  • Thur 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM
  • Fri 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

    • What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
  • Monitor access to the location, verifying credentials and assisting with visitor management as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, coordinating with building management and / or first responders as required.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and / or unusual occurrences in accordance with company and client requirements.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
