job_description.job_card.job_descriptionAssist radiologists during interventional procedures ensuring patient safety and comfort. Prepare and maintain interventional radiology equipment and sterile instruments. Monitor and document patient vital signs and responses during procedures. Maintain accurate patient records and procedure documentation. Follow radiation safety protocols for patients staff and self. Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care. Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Previous experience in Interventional Radiology. Willing to consider Radiologic Technologists with a strong general radiology background and interest in cross-training. Required : Must obtain within 2 years of hire (at least one of the following) : ARRT-CI (Cardiac Interventional Radiography) ARRT-CV (Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography)

Job Summary :
The Interventional Radiology Technologist performs interventional radiology procedures on ambulatory and hospital patients under the supervision of a Radiologist. These procedures requested by a physician or licensed provider are conducted to diagnose and treat diseases and injuries in accordance with established protocols.
