As an owner, you understand the business and your domain(s) deeply and solve for the right outcome for the domain(s) and the business. / li / ul p b Requirements : / b / p ul li Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or closely related field of study; or equivalent work experience / li li Minimum 5 years of software engineering experience or comparable depth of experience / li li Strong understanding and use of one or more object-oriented programming languages and design patterns. 4+ years of recent enterprise Java 8+ development of highly loaded cloud services / li li Strong proficiency in software engineering principles, microservice architecture, code and system design patterns. / li li Strong understanding and use of one or more object-oriented programming languages and design patterns / li li Practical experience in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including Agile / SCRUM and Waterfall / li li Ability to write and maintain comprehensive technical documentation and advocate your design in front of senior members / li li Practical experience in data modeling, design and messaging / li li Experience working on mission-critical enterprise class applications / li li Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor less experienced team members / li li Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation / li / ul p b Preferred Qualifications : / b / p ul li Masters degree in Computer Science or related field / li li 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 5+ years leading cross-functional teams and driving technical initiatives / li li Experience transitioning from monolithic / SOA systems to scalable, resilient microservices / li li Expertise in API design, optimization, and security for high-throughput, low-latency environments / li li Extensive experience with Java and GraalVM frameworks (e.g., Quarkus, Micronaut), along with proficiency in additional languages like Golang, Kotlin, C++, or Rust for developing high-performance cloud-native services / li li Strong database optimization skills and experience designing high-availability solutions / li li Familiarity with AWS, Docker / Kubernetes, observability tools, and CI / CD pipelines / li li Strong communication skills, able to effectively advocate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences / li / ul div p b Target Compensation / b : A competitive base salary range from $130,047 - $190,736 . This position is eligible for an annual variable cash bonus, between 7.5 - 15%.
