The Receptionist provides a superior level of secretarial duties and reception services to the doctor, patients, and staff. Enters, maintains, and reports all medical history using the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system. Updates all patient files and makes sure documents are accurate, confidential, and compliant. Greets, check-in and check-out patients, and advises other medical staff of the arrival of patients. Assists in maintaining inventory of necessary supplies and all instruments. Schedules appointments, follows up with no-call - no-call-no-shows, and the discharge of patients. Answers inbound calls to the practice, as well as greets vendors and sets vendor appointments.
