Senior Mechanical Assembler - Phoenix, AZ

Job Summary :

Mercury Systems is seeking the best and brightest talent to help us bring cutting-edge technology to mission-critical aerospace and defense applications, advancing innovation where it matters most. The Senior Mechanical Assembler will perform a variety of tasks relating to production operations on electronics and / or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies. Targeted start date would be beginning to mid-January.

Job Responsibilities :

Install, assemble and inspect electronic components per documented work instructions. Interpret job routers, written instructions, wiring diagrams and schematic drawings for assembly of electronics. Demonstrate professionalism, leadership and initiatives on a daily basis. Perform a variety of inspections to ensure assemblies meet / exceed IPC standards. Perform pass downs with outgoing / incoming shifts. Disassemble and re-assemble, modify, rework assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions. Other duties as assigned.

Must Have :

• Must be able to travel to Chantilly VA for up to 2 months for training
• Minimum of 5 or more years of mechanical assembly experience
• Must have meticulous hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
• Knowledge of ESD (Electrostatic discharge) procedures
• Must be detail oriented and able to multitask
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both oral and written
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule in order to meet production and customer needs
• High School Diploma or GED
• Targeted start date : beginning to mid-January 2026

$44,000.00 - $88,000.00 annual salary for in-office or hybrid employees in FL, GA, IN, AZ, AL, MD or TX, and all remote employees
