Assist occupational therapists in implementing treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.

Provide direct patient care, including therapeutic exercises and activities designed to enhance mobility, strength, and functional independence.

Document patient progress accurately and maintain up-to-date medical records in accordance with facility policies.

Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs.

Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Support patients in various settings, including geriatrics, pediatrics, acute care, and skilled nursing facilities.

Utilize medical terminology effectively when communicating with team members and documenting patient care.

Requirements

Must be a certified occupational therapy assistant with a valid state license.

Experience in geriatrics, pediatrics, home health, or acute care settings is preferred.

Strong understanding of medical imaging and terminology related to occupational therapy.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team.

Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to assist patients in their recovery journey.

Ability to adapt treatment plans based on patient progress and feedback.
