JOB SUMMARY

This position is responsible for the Radio Frequency (RF) Engineering of an LTE network. This job position requires the individual to be knowledgeable in RF theory and RF design principles, especially for LTE networks. Overall responsibilities include RF design, RF capacity planning, RF traffic analysis, RF parameter calculations (such as link budgets), and RF equipment specification & selection. This position has responsibility for supporting disaster / storm recovery efforts for the network.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• BS Degree in Electrical Engineering or Wireless Engineering required
• MS Degree in Electrical Engineering or Wireless Engineering desired
• 2+ years of work experience as an RF Engineer desired
• Knowledge of RF systems (3G / 4G / 5G) and associated RF equipment preferred
• Knowledge of LTE networks desired
• Knowledge of RF propagation modeling software, including Atoll, strongly preferred
• Knowledge of FCC rules / licensing and FAA regulations desired
• Knowledge of Microsoft computer applications required
• Excellent organizational skills required
• Excellent oral & written communication skills required
