Physician Assistant Job Details – Dayton, OH

Assignment Type : Locum tenens (Travel / Contract Physician Assistant job)

Location : Dayton, OH 45409 (Ohio healthcare jobs)

Setting : Inpatient Cardiac Electrophysiology

Start Date : February 2, 2026

End Date : May 4, 2026 (10-week minimum, potential extension)

Schedule : Monday–Friday, flexible hours (e.g., 8am–4pm or 9am–5pm)

Hours per Week : 36

Shift Duration : 12-hour shifts (any)

No weekends or holidays required

Estimated Weekly Salary : $4200–$4500 per week

Physician Assistant Qualifications

Active Physician Assistant license (Ohio PA license preferred)

Minimum 1 year of experience as a Physician Assistant, ideally in cardiology or cardiac electrophysiology

Experience with device checks; ability to perform device changes is a plus

Strong clinical assessment and patient documentation skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team

Cardiac Electrophysiology PA Responsibilities

Deliver inpatient Cardiac Electrophysiology APP coverage

Manage a daily caseload of 10–20 patients, including consults and follow-ups for electrophysiology conditions

Independently evaluate and bill for follow-up patients and consults

Collaborate with Electrophysiology physicians and other Advanced Practice Providers

Occasionally serve as the second APP on the EP service

Perform and interpret device checks; conduct device changes if qualified

Maintain accurate, thorough patient documentation in compliance with clinical standards
