Data Analyst (reporting, R, SQL, PowerBI)

A non-profit news organization based in Maryland is looking to add 3 Data Analysts to their data reporting team. This organization is focused on delivering high-quality local journalism to Northern Maryland and their goal is to build a news organization that’s trustworthy and truly reflects the community. They cover everything from local government to arts and culture, telling stories that connect neighbors, hold institutions accountable, and help people understand the world around them.

Senior Data Analyst

The team is looking to add 1 Senior Data Analyst with at least 5 years of experience in creating data visualizations. You would be looking into data sets to uncover important stories, turn numbers into compelling charts and interactives, and work closely with other reporters across a range of topics.

Mid-Level Data Analysts

There are 2 of these positions in which they're trying to fill. One of the positions is focused on someone who is very efficient at building dashboards and the other is more of an Analytics engineer that can do the architecture / design. Both roles have a strong emphasis on manipulating / managing data to tell stories across their organization.

Skillset needed : Heavy SQL experience, Visualization (PowerBI, Tableau, Looker), Python, R
