Position Overview : Join our dynamic team as an Operations Assistant Manager. In this vital role, you will oversee daily operations in a Taco Bell unit, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and efficiently. You will support the Restaurant General Manager in upholding high standards of cleanliness, hospitality, product quality, and speed of service. Your hands-on involvement in training staff and addressing customer needs will be essential to our success.
Key Responsibilities :
- Warmly greet customers and accurately take their orders.
- Prepare and package food and beverages in accordance with restaurant standards.
- Handle cash registers, process payments, and provide change to guests.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in all areas of the restaurant, including the kitchen, lobby, and restrooms.
- Assist with food preparation and dishwashing as required.
- Restock inventory and supplies as necessary.
- Manage shifts to ensure fair treatment of employees while adhering to workplace laws and regulations.
- Provide ongoing coaching and constructive feedback to team members.
- Recruit, hire, and train new Taco Bell employees, facilitating their onboarding process.
- Address any safety concerns in the workplace proactively.
- Report significant issues to management and HR when needed.
- Conduct daily audits of food safety and preparation.
- Monitor daily inventory and help manage cash handling procedures.
- Assist in creating employee schedules and properly deploying team members.
- Track the speed of service and resolve any bottlenecks to meet performance goals.
- Monitor inventory and food preparation daily to uphold company standards.
- Oversee daily inventory, deliveries, restaurant opening and closing, and adjust staffing as necessary.
- Analyze sales, labor, inventory, and expenses continuously, taking action to achieve profit margins and sales targets.
Qualifications :
Minimum age of 18 years.Preference for internal candidates who have completed all required training and certifications.High school diploma or GED required.At least 6 months of experience in a supervisory or shift management role, preferably in the service industry.Legal authorization to work in the United States.Availability to work flexible hours across all shifts as needed.Basic math and reading proficiency.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Quick learner with a positive, can-do attitude.Good personal hygiene and professional appearance.Reliable transportation with punctual arrival to work.Proven ability to manage financial controls and mentor employees.A friendly and courteous demeanor is essential.
