[job_card.job_description]We are seeking an experienced 3rd Shift Production Supervisor to lead and oversee manufacturing operations during overnight hours. This role is critical to ensuring production runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently by supervising employees, organizing workflows, and maintaining quality standards. In a fast-paced manufacturing environment, the Supervisor plays a key role in optimizing daily operations, improving efficiency, and supporting team performance while controlling costs. The overall goal is to deliver high-quality products in a safe and profitable manner. Key Responsibilities Set and communicate daily, weekly, and monthly production goals Manage workflow by assigning tasks and creating schedules Lead, coach, and monitor employee performance and productivity Ensure safe operation of equipment and coordinate routine maintenance Verify production output meets quality and specification standards Prepare and present performance and progress reports to leadership Identify operational issues and recommend process improvements Train new employees on equipment use, safety procedures, and company policies Enforce all safety guidelines and company standards Qualifications 3 years of experience as a Production or Shop Supervisor (or similar role) Experience supervising teams of 20 employees Strong background working with manufacturing machinery and tools Proficiency with MS Office; experience with Workday and/or ADP is a plus Proven ability to coach, lead, and develop employees Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills Effective communication and interpersonal skills Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset High School Diploma required; additional education in engineering or a related field is a plus Nesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
