Regulatory Affairs Specialist

Qualifications : Education

• Bachelor’s degree; degree in chemistry, biochemistry, biology, library science or related field

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of one year of regulatory experience in Consumer Packaged Goods, preferably in the area of home cleaning products
• Solid understanding of chemistry
• Familiarity with handling confidential data
• Overall computer literacy
• Knowledge of the following software programs
• SAP, specifically PLM
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite - Outlook, Word and SharePoint with advanced knowledge and expertise in Excel

• Detail oriented
• Self-motivated; will ask questions and seek clarity, when necessary
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, with time constrains

• Excellent reading comprehension, written and oral communication skills Responsibilities :
• Act as a company representative through communications regarding pre-submission strategy / regulatory pathway development, testing requirements, clarification, and follow up of submissions under review
• Gather and enter data into third-party compliance systems
• May be requested to assist with raw material, formulation and packaging regulatory evaluations to confirm compliance with local, state and federal requirements in the US and Canada for new laundry and home care product development projects
• Develop and implement regulatory strategies for new and modified products : Review and approve labeling

and advertising materials for compliance with global regulations

• Develop and implement departmental and divisional policies and procedures
• Responsible for regulatory compliance under applicable agencies.
• Represents company in dealing with agencies and trade associations.
