We are actively seeking qualified candidates for the following position for our client, who is an industry leader : Financial Systems Administrator Location – Remote Type – Full Time Position Summary We is seeking a Financial Systems Administrator to oversee and improve our enterprise application environments. This role will be responsible for managing hosted environments with our vendor, coordinating upgrades and migrations, supporting integrations across systems, and driving technical projects that enhance operational efficiency. The ideal candidate is technically strong, detail-oriented, and capable of managing projects and vendor relationships independently. Key Responsibilities Environment & Vendor Management Partner with vendor to plan, schedule, and communicate environment updates, upgrades, and migrations. Serve as the primary technical liaison with external vendors and support providers. Monitor and document system performance, configurations, and environment changes. Upgrades & Migrations Coordinate testing cycles, opt-in / opt-out decisions, and technical concerns during upgrades. Manage database refreshes, consolidations, and environment setup. Support system migrations and data moves across hosted and on-premise servers. Integrations & Acquisitions Support integration of new business systems into corporate applications and processes. Validate migrated data and processes with accounting and operations teams. Collaborate on middleware and API integrations, ensuring smooth system connectivity. Technical Support & Documentation Provide advanced support for enterprise applications, databases, and related tools. Draft and distribute clear communications about technical changes, outages, or upgrades. Maintain thorough system documentation, SOPs, and configuration records. Process Improvements & Initiatives Identify and implement improvements to systems, workflows, and application performance. Lead projects that enhance operational efficiency and data integrity. Act as a resource for internal teams seeking technical solutions. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience). 4–6 years of experience supporting enterprise systems, databases, or hosted environments. Strong technical background with servers, databases, and integrations. Proven ability to coordinate vendors, projects, and technical teams. Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills. Independent, proactive worker with strong problem-solving abilities. Preferred Skills Experience with hosted or cloud-based enterprise applications. Familiarity with SQL, scripting, or system administration. Knowledge of middleware / integration platforms (e.g., Workato, APIs, ETL). Exposure to financial systems or ERP environments (nice-to-have, not required).
