We are currently seeking anInternal Controls Automation Developer to help grow and mature our first line of defense information technology (IT) control testing function and act as a trusted partner to technology / cybersecurity management in helping them assess and improve their controls. This role plays a critical part in evaluating the effectiveness of the Companys control environment.

To be successful as the Internal Controls Automation Developer it is important that you are able to design implement and maintain automated solutions that support internal control testing and compliance initiatives. This role will support management of controls through automated solutions ensuring that control systems are efficient scalable and aligned with regulatory standards from a technology and operational risk you thrive on assessing internal controls working in a dynamic team environment with visibility across multiple IT and cyber domains partnering with management to make control performance and testing more efficient then this role is perfect for you!

Key Responsibilities :

• Design develop and enhance automated workflows and scripts to support internal control testing and monitoring activities.
• Build and maintain automation for evidence collection control validation and reporting.
• Integrate automation solutions with IT Service Management (ITSM) Governance Risk & Compliance (GRC) and other enterprise applications.
• Facilitate planning sessions as technical lead and help identify improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with independent risk management and compliance teams to understand control requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Support third-party vendor engagements related to control testing automation by holding status meetings ensuring governance over Bots and usage of APIs.
• Utilize tools to build automated reporting of control testing metrices and time bound notifications from the enterprise GRC system.
• Support the implementation of control frameworks including NIST COSO SOX and COBIT through automation.
• Assist in identifying control gaps and opportunities for automation.
• Generate reporting on control performance deficiencies and remediation efforts.
• Contribute to risk mitigation strategies through technology-driven solutions and use of AI.
• Create training documentation for automated processes.
• Document automation logic control mappings and system configurations for audit readiness.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

This Internal Controls Automation Developer position is currently not eligible for employment visa sponsorship (e.g. H-1B). This includes for example situations where a candidate may have temporary work authorization while enrolled in school or upon graduation (e.g. CPT OPT) but would need H-1B visa sponsorship withing a few years of employment in order to maintain employment eligibility.

This position is fully in office (5 days a week) at the Zions Technology Center 7860 South Bingham Junction Blvd Midvale UT 84047.
