• This position will be filled as an Engineer II III or Sr. based up on the experience and qualifications of the selected candidate.

JOB SUMMARY / PURPOSE :

The Construction Engineer (CE) position within Distribution Capital Projects Construction organization is responsible for the safe and efficient planning coordination execution final commissioning and closeout of construction activities for all assigned capital projects while achieving cost and schedule capital projects may involve the construction of new or upgrades to existing distribution lines upgrades to distribution automation equipment etc. with internal and external business drivers in both routine and non-routine / emergency environments.

This position is an integral part of a diverse project team consisting of Project Managers Design Engineers Right-of-Way (ROW) agents Environmental Operations Coordinators and other subject matter aspects as needed.

JOB DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES :

Support definition of project-specific work scope.

Provide input to annual contracting strategy

Lead pre-construction kick-off meeting(s) with construction resources.
