Quality Assurance Supervisor (Swing Shift)

The Quality Assurance Supervisor will provide leadership in quality and technical matters to the plant team to ensure compliance with the Corporate Quality Policy.

Responsibilities include hiring and supervising Quality staff, conducting departmental and job-specific training, performing laboratory analyses and investigations, notifying key stakeholders of identified issues, providing technical support for resolution of quality problems, maintaining files of test results and product dispositions, maintaining and updating product specifications, developing and adhering to Quality SOPs, supporting the plant Food Safety & Quality System, preparing test schedules and procedures, maintaining Good Laboratory Procedures, updating and supporting food safety programs and systems, maintaining quality systems, participating in quality complaint investigations, performing and participating in internal and third-party audits, supporting facility during inspections, customer audits, communications, commercialization, inter-plant transfers, and other regulatory or customer interactions, and providing technical assistance to quality assurance and operations.

Essential skills include quality assurance expertise, food science knowledge, supervisory skills, a Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or similar science / Engineering, 2+ years of quality experience in a management role, experience with laboratory, quality, and / or food safety systems, experience in a plant environment, knowledge of relevant GFSI standards such as SQF, BRC, IFS or FS, understanding of Food Safety regulations and FSMAHACCP / food safety experience in food, chemical, or pharmaceutical industry, and knowledge of quality management systems, GFSI audit standards, SSOPs, and environmental hygiene programs.

This is a Permanent position based out of Union City, CA. The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $120000.00 / yr. Benefits available upon request. This is a fully onsite position in Union City, CA. The application deadline for this position is anticipated to close on Nov 20, 2025.
