What You’ll Do

Reports to the Director. Is responsible for assessing, planning, coordinating and evaluating orientation, continuing education and in-service programs for the Beacon Health System Transport staff which are competency based. As a vital member of the Transport Leadership team, this role extends to operational tasks assigned by the Director to assist in the department's day-to-day operations.

As an Education Coord Transport, you’ll bring a high level of knowledge and competency in advanced analytical skills are necessary to solve complex problems and make decisions related to patient care. You demonstrate the interpersonal skills necessary to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, patients, visitors, physicians, and others. You demonstrate the ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing, in a clear and concise manner. You have an understanding of the need to be responsive and reasonably adaptable for scheduling purposes, when necessary, due to extenuating circumstances in support of co-workers and department functions.
