Job Requirements

Education Requirements : Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent
Certifications Requirements : Current BLS, NRP, and ACLS certifications
Experience Requirements : Minimum of 1 year of recent Labor and Delivery nursing experience
Other Requirements : Valid North Carolina RN license, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, strong communication skills, and ability to float between units if needed

Job Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to Labor and Delivery patients, ensuring safety and comfort during both day and night shifts.

Monitor labor progress and assist with birthing processes, providing support to patients and their families.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.

Execute emergency protocols and respond swiftly to complications or emergencies in accordance with hospital policies.
