Job Summary and Responsibilities

Join our team as a Certified Sterile Processing Tech. In the Certified Sterile Processing Tech role you will :

• Promote improved quality and improved patient safety in the OR by ensuring the efficient flow of the Sterile Processing department.
• Perform routine tasks relating to the decontamination, processing, sterilization, and distribution of instruments, equipment and sterile supplies. Responsible for general operating and monitoring of sterilization equipment.
• Maintain records in compliance with AAMI, AORN, Joint Commission and OSHA standards. Maintains Certification, and monitors, instructs and mentors non-certified.
• Facilitate awareness and understanding around what is at stake with patients in the OR.
• Facilitate the department's preparation of staff to pass survey / regulatory assessments.

Schedule :   Monday - Friday 8 : 00am - 4 : 30pm
